Hello all, I have a hand full of stamp here that I need help with ID.
They were in my step fathers stamp collection book. So I looked them up in a Postage Stamp guide to find out what Scott # they were because it looks like they could be any of a few diff ones.
Like stamp #2 and 4 look like the same one but they were in diff part of the stamp book. I'm thinking
#1 is Scott #10
#2 is Scott #134
#3 is Scott #139
#4 is Scott #206
#5 is Scott #219
#6 is Scott #220

The last one is a #220.
The first one could be one of six different stamps. And the others could have many different numbers. The different is do they have grills, soft paper, hard paper or secret marks. The first one you will need to know the perfs too.

I believe your #1 is Scott 26. Scott 10 and 11 are similar but imperf. Scott 26 is perforated 15-1/2. I've just been looking at some of this design trying to figure out the color varieties.

The problem I have is it rose or is it dull red and what if the perfs are 12? That is what I hate from a scan you can just never tell. So is it #25,#26,#26A OR #41? I agree we can rule out the #10 & #11 unless someone was crazy and had it perfed.
