Just checked on ebay for the imperf Major League Baseball All-Stars. The opportunists are asking between $99 and $225 for a block of four fropm the panes with all four players on it. Don't know if they'll get what they're asking. Just kind of interesting. Thank you once again, apastuszek!
I've noticed that, but I've also noticed that these seemingly high BIN prices have no bids, either. That suggests to me that no one has yet defined exactly what the secondary market price for these items are to be.
Remember that many of the "limited edition" press sheets have not yet arrived to their final destination and when they do, there will be collectors who may think twice about cutting them up. The real value will be determined when the sheets are all out in the public's hands and it will then be up to "supply and demand" to dictate market prices.
I'm curious to see what value Scott will give them.
EDIT: Just looked at the ebay listings. All the pictures are the die-cut varieties with the die-cuts erased very poorly. So, it's obvious to me that, like me, he has not gotten his sheet yet.
