Hello again.
I'm looking for a better album to keep my stepfathers stamps in. Right now there in a OLD The Aristocrat World Stamp Album. The pages are kind of old and yellowing. But there are B&W pictures of the stamp that goes in that spot.
As I was looking through ebay, I came across this stamp page. Not sure what there actually called, but I think I like this one because I can take the stamps out of the plastic mini protector around the stamp that is taped to the old page. Not sure if I making any sence.
Here is the picture I nabbed from ebay.
Agani, thanks for any help

Old and vintage that is what I like in an album for my used stamps. Besides I would risk doing more harm to the stamps trying to remove all the old hinges.

There are a lot of great album and other books to hold stamps in today. There isn't a perfect one since everyone like something different. I do use a Mystic stamp album for my MNH stamps plus Showgard mounts. The mounts can get expensive but that is the way I like to mount the MNH stamps.

I do use some stock books that have pages very similar to the one you have posted. They can again be very expensive but then again you can place a lot more stamps on the pages. They offer flexibility too permitting you to arrange stamps the way you want them.

In addition there are what they call mount less albums but those are out of my price range. However they are very nice.

You could always use your current album and place the pages inside of plastic page protectors. This works pretty well in protecting the pages and the stamps.

mkfarm...that is a super idea, however, most plastic page protectors
are made 8 1/2 by 11.

Pages from albums are usually larger.

I just trimmed the pages a little so that they fit. Of course a paper cutter makes a great job with this. Since the protectors are for a three ring binder I just bought nice new binders. Now I still have that good old vintage look while retaining as much of the original album as possible.
