Anyone know the history behind the "Fight Your Insect Enemies" slogan cancel? I know it was used in many places, especially on the East Coast of the US during 1954. What was the "insect enemy" in 1954?
Today, I would think mosquitos, but I'm not sure the problems with EEE and West Nile Virus that we have today were even studied back in the 1950s.
