From my 2006 Scott Specialized Catalogue, you might find it a wise investment to find a older one to help you a little faster.

1891 (2) about a $1.00 used
2604 #s22222 about $1.75 used
1908 #6-$1.25 #10-.75 #16-$2.00 used
1895 #1-.75 #2-.50 used
2115 #10-.65 #12-.65 #17-$2.00used
2136 .65 used

Lonedan,
I found a bit of a difference in values from my 2007 Hebert's Standard Plate Number Single Catalogue for such stamps: remember that condition means so much to the value of your stamps-any stains, creases, missing perfs, etc. effect values!

SC# all values are for used"
2604 value $2 used
1908 (#6) $1.20, (#10) 85 cents
1895 (#1) $1, (#2) 40 cents
2115 (#10) 45cents, (#12) 50 cents, (#17) $1
2136 (#2) 55 cents

Both sources are fairly close even though they are a year apart. Not bad for dated reference material.

Dianne,
I'm in a League of my own! ha ha
I ought to take over Tom's favorite saying,
"I know enough to know I don't know enough"! ha
I just like the Plate Numbered singles, coils,
blocks, etc and bought the Hebert's catalog not too long
ago.It's very helpful!

I remember that, Phil. I wonder why they stopped? I found it useful and interesting.

I'm going to write them a letter and find out why.

David, after they droppped that and two other articles I used to look forward to..Linns was not the same paper to me anymore..i do not subscribe to it at all..2 or 3 of the guys bring their linns in to the stamp club meeting ...and the paper is half the size it was in the 90's... I remember they used to publish the amount of subscribers and it was in the high 80 thousands at that time !!

I have "Stamp Manage USA 2012" and a "Scott 2012 United States Pocket Stamp Catalogue" and I cannot find a value for this PNC strip 1222. My local library has no specialized catalogue. According to Stamp Manage it is a 2279-P. I am thankful for any assistance.

When those #2279 stamps came out the general collecting method was a PNC strip of 5. Therefore, the Scott Catalog only provides values that way. Had it been a strip of 5, the Scott 2011 value would have been $3.00. A PNC single of 1222 in used condition is listed at $0.80.
