A nudist airport? I guess it cuts down on airport security! No more removing shoes or emptying pockets!

While the Sunny Rest Resort is still in operation today, the airport isn't (in its day, it was little more than a grass field, anyway).

Nevertheless, for some further history on the airport, checkout the interesting period article about it in a 1950 issue of "Flying" magazine at this link (starting on page 28):
