These are registered stamped postal envelopes - a type of postal stationery. Scott does not list any of the worldwide postal stationery aside from the United States. Stanley Gibbons catalogs would be helpful instead. |

No Scott numbers for postal stationery, which these are.
Edit// Gibbons won't help much, as my new 2012 Great Britain "Concise" doesn't list postal stationery either, other than the Mulready envelopes. |

Jeff says Stanley Gibbons catalog number and approximate value would be fine if anyone has that information (Laurie) |

An Australian couple, Eunice and Ron, have some info on Registered envelopes that might give you some idea of the items you have.

Sorry, my Gibbons Commonwealth and British Empire doesn't list postal stationery, so no help with values. The link above is great for information. |

Thanks for the 'plug' and I think this is the first time I have seen any 'feedback' for that particular section of our site. (Registered envelopes)
For the information of any members who have not visited our site, it is mainly philatelic in content, with emphasis on Great Britain.
Starting with about 150 old letters, pre-1840, with illustrations and transcripts of contents, then to KEVIII and GVI stamps etc. Plenty of 'booklets' content if that is your 'bag'.
All of the items are our own collections so if there are any queries we can 'physically' check them.
We are always pleased to get feedback.
Take a look and enjoy - hopefully something will stir the philatelic curiosity.
Regards to all.

Hi all, Sorry for the duplicate messages - don't know what happened there.
jhlovell - can you tell me what size that KEVII envelope is (f, g, h, etc) and I can tell you what Whitworth has it listed for in his pricelist. It is a 1999 list so outdated but with this type of thing probably not a lot of difference.
Regards Ron. |
