Does this Scott#1 look to have a re-entry at several areas? Without mentioning the areas myself, can anyone see what I may be seeing?

Can see the "dent in the lower right 5 and second F in office has an issue but not what I would call a re entry. Maybe retouched or even lint build up on plate . I'm more used to Canadian re entries which show definite doubling of a specific area. re-entries.com only has a couple US examples but a quick look through will give more details.

I wonder if the flatness on the belly of "S" is sign of a re-engraved plate? It just looks like a lot of the letters are some what choppy.

I am thinking of selling this #1, appears unused with no gum. What should I ask for it, anyone?

A $25 certificate from Weiss will pay for itself in greater sale price realized.

Having to return an item for which the condition is uncertain will be a hassle that will turn away potential buyers who won't want to deal with the hassle.

It looks like there is a repaired tear through the second F in Office, though it could just be a scuff, or remnant of a manuscript cancel.

No, there's no tear or closed tear there. I've used fluid and there's no sign of any pen cancels or damage. Maybe I will send it for verification first. It could come back as a 1a, that would value.
What should I ask for verified unused?
