Well parenthesis are purposefully removed because while they can be used in good faith, they can also be used in malicious links, so the forum code just removes them. It's not a matter of escaping them, they are just filtered out.
Hey t360, this will probably be my first and last post. Just to say, if you do not already know, your first two links go to a different page then that Tinylink thing. I would be more eager to learn about that, than stamps. No offense intended.
Tinyurl.com provides a service which will convert long URLs into small ones. These small URLs are convenient to use in emails and when posting to user groups because the long URLs are ugly and will break if they extend past the end of a line and get wrapped onto the next line.
