Son of a puppy dog- I don't usually paruse these catalogs mostly due to envy but wow some of the realized prices makes you want to fall off the chair. Theres the obvious catalog for $1000 sold for $5000 but so many catalog $20 sold for $500 as well . Like they say a good auctioneer can pick pocket your wallet with their tongue!

Believe me, I'm not justifying the realized prices whatsoever, but Stamps like these are seldom seen. Have a look through the Washington / Franklins.

Today the seller, Nick Kirke, stated that he was pleased with the results but, having purchased many of the items at the height of the grading frenzy, the collection was sold at a loss.
