ALL have a relic of the Spanish-American War!
There is a tax on your telephone bills that was installed
temporarily to pay for the S-A War. Just that Congress
forgot to take it off when the war was over! Been there
since 1897!
Just goes to show that once you create a tax, even short
term, it never goes away.
No wonder their approval rating is less than half that
of POTIS. And we all know how horrible his rating is.
