It's the only one I have... It's seen better days.
However, it will stay right where it is in the old
binder, right where Dad put it so very long ago.

I am pretty sure this is actually a "BoB" item, but
I think it's age earns it a place with the "Classics".

Yeah, I knew it was CSA. That is why I figured it was
'back of book'... But like I said, it's earned the
title classic IMO.

I don't know if it's mislabeled or not. It has been
in that spot for longer than I have been alive. So
it's not moving anywhere as far as I am concerned.

The album is a very old hinge type, and this stamp
is one of only a very few that are left in it's pages.
All the others have been moved out to nicer displays
and modern hinge-less binders.

This one is a lonely stamp indeed. A whole album to
itself, not just the CSA page.

I didn't expect you to move it, I just figured you might want to make a small notation in pencil next to it CS13 is a green George Washington 20Cent

Yeah, I got ya...
I appreciate the info. I wasn't thinking you were
telling me to move it. I was just framing the mental
picture of how this thing has lived the last 40 years
and probably the next 40 years.

So that's what it's supposed to look like!
Is that your only CSA, or do you have others?

Update... FWIW...
I looked at the CSA again, and by today's catalog, it
is a #11.

However, in the old book that the stamp is hinged into,
it is a #13. The book appears to me to go by Scott
numbers. ??? Most of the pages end in the early 60s,
but the label on the album says it has update pages to
1973. So maybe the Scott numbers for CSA stamps have
been revised since that time. ???

It sure looks like the #11. As far as different numbers at one time some of the old guys are going to have to answer that one.

Is it just me, or is Ziggy's a #12?

The difference between 11 and 12 is an extra
line outside the decorative elements in the
4 corners. I know mine is an 11, but it looks
like the other may have the extra "frills" of
the 12.

Edit:
Well what do ya know...
My 74th post, but the first where it sounds like
I know what I am talking about!
