Here are a couple of cancels from Philadelphia Pa station Z. Does anyone know what they went to after the Z?

Looks like Z slug was put in backwards on first one. Plus it has my last name so I think it was intended to go to me!

I noticed the reverse slug also. I thought at first that the "N" was placed sideways. I don't think it is an "N" because of the serifs.

According to these on-line excerpts from the Postal Bulletin, the designation of "Philadelphia - Station Z" was changed to "Philadelphia - East Falls Station", as of July 1, 1916:

Maybe they were forced to make these changes after they ran out of letter designations. They seem to have done the same thing around the same period of time in other major cities such as New York, Boston, Chicago, etc.

That is really good info! I have thousands of covers and contents and most are from Philadelphia. I looked through them and didn't find any more. They must have been on the other side of the tracks.
