It could be the center stamp from a booklet pane, but the Scott reference is for a complete booklet pane.

No, I don't think there is a market for singles other than EDU.

EDU--Earliest Documented Use. This applies to a stamp used on cover (envelope/post card etc.)or a legible day, month, year cancel on an off-cover stamp or multiple of a stamp. The term EKU, Earliest Know Use, is sometimes used. Scott Specialized shows what is believed to be the approximate release date of early issues and then shows the current established EDU/EKU at the bottom of the listing for an issue. After First Day Cancellation Covers started being sold, those were in effect the EDU/EKUs of an issue. On earlier issues, its not necessarily know what the exact release (sale) date was therefore a part of the hobby is searching for the EDUs--and they do have a value premium.

The 2 cent denominationin numerals wmk 191 was printed from 5 different plate layouts. The stamp shown can only be from one of three layouts; 180 subject booklet, 360 subject booklet or 400 subject imprint V ( the other 2 layouts would have the 2mm horizontal spacing on the centerline). If the watermark is vertical it is the 180 booklet if it is horizontal it can be either 360 booklet of 400 sheet imprint V.
