Are the imperf coils on this cover anything special?
Stuff like this is one of the reasons I don't collect US! It drives me mad. I recently shelled out a good piece of change for Scott Specialized Color Guides hoping to sort out some US 10, 11, 64, and 65 and I'm no closer to figuring them out than I was before spending the $50 or $60 for these chip samples.
The scan doesn't really show it, but these appear to be Type 1 engravings.
