This cover has a weak strike of a Binghampton N.Y. CDS. The stamp is position 87L2L which has 1 fat line recut in the upper left triangle that is in clear view on this stamp. It is a medium orange red color. An attractive cover that was once part of Wilson Hulme's collection.

Based on your description, I know who you bought the cover from. Are you into the 3c 1851 or was this just a one-off purchase? How about the 3c '57's?

I just started getting into the 51's & 57's about a month ago.
I'm looking to put a nice collection together with variable types, positions and shades. Should keep me busy for quite some time. I'm trying to obtain the majority on covers.
