Automated Postal Machines No Longer Stocking Real Stamps?

I went to the automated postal machine to buy a booklet of stamps, and the only thing the machine could do now was print a sheet of print on demand stamps. I had to select from 8 different images and it would print me a sheet.

I cancelled the transaction and decided I would just see a postal clerk in the morning and buy stamps.

What the heck is the point to having stamps printed, if you're not even going to use them in your own postal vending machines?

8 different designs or 6?

When they changed them to provide the different designs, they stopped offering the ATM stamp panes.
