Nice Grill! You remind me of my father in law who loved to fish. He would catch a big Walleye and run to his favorite bait shop to get his picture on the wall and always tell them he caught it on a lake in a neighboring county. He thought his honey hole was a big secret. My wife and I scattered his ashes at his honey hole. Everyone knew where it was.

Good Luck with #2. I was just chatting with a couple friends Friday and I said "I have never had US #2" They both looked at me dumbfounded and neither of them had it either. It turns out it is kind of the holy grail for all three of us, but it never falls within our budgets. I have never paid $500 or more for a single stamp and you need to go North of that to get that one. I will be very envious when you get it, but good for you.

Stampvirgin,
They are tough for me to find and I don't always have that kind of money burning a hole in my pocket when I do find them. I only collect used, so your #2 would be a prized piece in my collection. I have 4 US #1's (one is on cover). They are much easier to find. It's just like the 2 Zeps I am missing, I know they are out there, but they are expensive.

ah.. you know I bought a set of zeps. (all three values) Mint hinged and really nice shape. I have pictures up in a thread somewhere here.
They aren't that expensive when you are talking to a dealer at a show. It's amazing how much cheaper stamps are at a stamp show.
My zeps, didn't cost me very much money.
