Watching the Packers but very quickly the perfed stamp is a type II #20 and the imperf is a trimmed perforated Type IIIa and possibly Type III.

Either stamp trimmed is a tragedy.

Let me preface this by saying that I just got my Neinken book this week, and I don't have a clue at this point, but I think that the trimmed stamp is a Type III, and it may be position 36L4. The plate mark on the "S" at the top is the same as Neinken, and the mark at the bottom of ornament "H" is spot on also. The break in the bottom line is larger than the Neinken book, though.

I was not able to find a position for the perforated stamp. It has very few plate marks, and I tried to find a match on the blur on the bottom of the "C" in Cents with no luck.

Winston, your help is certainly appreciated here!

Thanks, Ray

No crying here TinMan - I couldn't be happier. Spent the weekend upgrading and adding to my existing collection and probably changed or added to about 30 pages in my album so far :)

A couple of observations on the Perforated 1˘ Franklin.

Not sure if any of these are plate indicators.

Hey Stalzer, again I'm new with Neinken, but none of the Plate 4 maps show a curl in that spot. I looked at all of the possible IIIa's quickly but didn't see the curl there either.

Let us know if you find it in Neinken, or hey Winston, we might need a hand on this one..

Thanks, Ray

I too looked for all the things I circled but no Joy. I also see there is a White dash under the left leg of the letter "N" in One, but I did not see anything from plate 4 that showed it. Maybe it's not from plate 4 ?
