I received an example of the Holy Family booklet (Scott 4711a, stamps are 4711) and noticed the die cuts are different between the stamps on the front of the booklet and those on the back. As you can see from the scans below, the die cut intersections are mirror images. Both sides are die cut at gauge 11 (more like 10 3/4 to my eye), so the Scott catalog won't differentiate the two varieties.

I'm always on the look out for die cut varieties.
Good hunting, Robert

I don't think it's a variety, but are, in fact, the standard die-cut perforations. I have several booklets of the Holy Family Stamp that I haven't used yet, and all are exactly the same. The intersection of the die cuts all slant down on the "front" of the booklet (that is, the side with the Holy Family title label and 8 stamps); and the die cuts all slant up on the "back of the booklet (12 stamps only).
