hi

on of the first lots that I ever purchased had these in the lot.
there are also block of 8-742, 2-blocks of 9-742, block of 10-742 [but straight edge, block of 8-744, block of 6-744, block of 8-747, block of 10-747, block of 6-748, block of 8-748, and block of 10-755. all cancelled folandsbee, w va.

does a cancel from a small city make a difference to the value of these blocks?

A nice stamp and block of stamps. In addition another one of my favorite cancellation marks. As for the subject of small city no it would not generally make any more valuable.

I like those small city cancellations they add to the charm of this hobby. Now I say generally because you never know when a certain PO would be famous or someone just wants that cancellation.

Hi Dan......

Some folks look for small town cancels.....many stamps are found from state & county capitals....some collectors just want something different....but there is really no difference in value as long as condition is equal.
