i purchased a bag of covers for about 15 cents apiece..when I removed the damaged the cost was up to a buck apiece..but I found about a dozen decent ones..i love covers with letters in them..this one has a letter and on the side of it he writes aboard U.S.S. Bear...i googled it and it was a ship for Antarctic expedtions..the writer says he is "on the way to Rio" . When you find a junk lot..it pays to look at them again and again !

Nice cover philb.

The cachet is nice too and I would bet that a collection could be formed trying to accumulate the different cahcets produced for PAA. I guess this could be said for all the airline carriers across the world.
