Then perhaps you can expand on your thoughts? The brevity of your statement leaves the reader to fill in the blanks! |

Democracy never works in this kind of enterprise. A majority would vote themselves no fees, free beer, and 1MB images, and six months later, the site would be bankrupt.
I still like "payments" in discount postage, and will volunteer to assist in that little piece of the pie if management wishes. |

When I went to this topic, page 1, and clicked the link for page 3, I get this: When I hit refresh, the normal page loads. the url of the wierdness page does not change when refresh takes me to the 'normal' page. |

That happens to me also, the weirdness business.
Good to know it's a work-around-able glitch (kind of) though.
Thanks for explaining Admin! |

The ebay listings running down is something that happens to me occasionally too. It's not by design. I can't figure out what's causing it. Refreshing the tab always fixes it though. The header listing setup is basically the same as the coin forum but it doesn't happen over there.I'm going to keep trying to figure it out. |

Just so you know, the avalanche of ebay adds is still happening. Yes, refreshing (almost) always clears it up the first time you refresh ... only on two occasions have I had to close and restart my browser, which also worked. ... Cal |

I got the ebay weirdness again. It looks like it's loading the ebayapi from the CSS instead of the featuredauction on random loads. Might check whatever script you're using to load the ebay featured auction. |

The ebay listings happen quite often to me but only when I'm at work, so I'm pretty sure the culprit is a crappy internet connection :) If I'm at home where I have a huge data pipe coming in it never happens, so dollars to donuts it's something to do with loading time. |

The next time this happens to someone here try right-clicking on the page then select "view page source," or something similar depending on your browser. Save the entire page source code as a text file and send it to me as an attachment. Bobby @ this site. Maybe I can figure out how it's happening from that. |

Bobby,
That's what I did, but I didn't think to save it. I then refreshed so the problem would fix itself and compared the two. The only difference I noted was that where the css div "featuredauction" is normally called at the top of the page, the "ebayapi" div class was called instead. |

And of course 30 seconds after I posted that, it did it again! Text file is <<Removed>>.
I ran the error text file and a non-error text file through Notepad++ text compare, and the only noted difference was in the div class I noted above at approximately line 142. I also note that on the non-error page load, your "featureauction" div class at line 142 is loading with single quotes in the name, target, and rel instead of the standard double quotes. That shouldn't be an issue, but who knows, depending which scripting language you're using to dynamically load that html. |
