Hi, I recently read something about US stamps that were issued for the 1980 Olympics were recalled, due to the US boycott. That's pretty much all I recall, and wonder if you have more specifics....
Great article thanks for posting. What I found most interesting was the LA Times article accusing the USPS of a stunt to make revenue over 30 years ago. Sounds like the current times! It would be great to locate that piece but difficult since it is per Internet.
