Hello all, I am in need of some help figuring out more about this stamped envelope that I have. I know that it's a green Scott Benjamin Franklin stamp but I am unsure of the type of paper that is printed on and the dye that it is. If you could help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

I just uploaded some pictures of the stamp. And the reason behind wanting to know the type of dye is because I do know that some are worth more than others. Also if anyone could help with maybe a value with this item. I really do appreciate all the help I can get, as I know really nothing about stamps as this was some of my grandmothers collection and she didn't leave any information with these. Thanks for welcoming me to the group and all the future help.

Here's where spelling mistakes cause confusion. The initial question was not "dye" but should have read "die" of which there are dies 1 through 6 known for this issue.

The Scott Catalog is generally a poor representation of accurately explaining the various dies involved in postal stationery printing, however, in this case, Die 1 is identified as having the word "UNITED" appear nearer the inner circle than the outer circle. Therefore, I believe this to be Die 1 in the example previously scanned.

Yes, Die 1 on a manila newspaper wrapper. Color technically is green but shades from deep green through olive green to pale green are known. Relatively common even as an unused entire and this one has condition issues.

Is that an envelope or a wrapper?
