Hello everyone. I'm glad I found this community. It is great for information.

A little about what I collect.

My main passion is US plate blocks, cut squares and postal stationary.

I also collect US Stamps, tons of topicals, fish, butterflies, horses, ships, planes, trains, and hot air balloons/zeppelins.

I love history, so I am passionate at finding everything about each and every item that I receive or can get my hands on.

I would love to know where people find their items besides ebay, which is my only source. I live in the boondocks with no large cities for many miles.

Thanks for having me, glad to be here

Greetings and welcome to the Forum. I have not been on here nearly as long as some, but there is an incredible wealth of info available from these very helpful members.

As for obtaining material via the Internet, aside from ebay, a couple of very good sources are Bidstart (http://stampwants-stamps.bidstart.com/) and Stamps2Go (http://www.stamps2go.com/default.aspx).

I have been very pleased with both, which have heavy amounts of US material.

And, both are good at obtaining those missing pieces of sets, etc.

Another site, though it takes some getting used to because it is Euro-based, is Delacampe. I have found specific international items there - mostly sets - that I had a hard time finding elsewhere.

Good luck!
