Where did you get your album page with all the varieties listed?

Thanks...

My postage due precancel pages come from the album-maker feature in the PSS inventory computer program. This database has only been released to beta testers but I think it will be generally available in early 2014. The plan is to have all the pre-1920 denominations computerized which is a very big project.
Once the dataset is in the program, all the standard functions will be possible: checklisting, wantlists, counts, valuations, and album maker.

Philb: I collect all the postage dues, and I do have the two you show here.

Stallzer: Yes, new varieties are being found - that makes precancel collecting exciting. The pages I made from the beta classics database reflect the items listed in the Hoover Black Book published in 1940 [aka: precancel bible]. Unfortunatety for me, many items have been discovered since then which will be incorporated into the final computer version. I do not plan to reprint it and remount everything.

Here are some of the later Grand Rapids MI postage dues - all double line electroplates. The album for these was designed and published by Jim Crosby.
