Here we have Scott #206 with what I have been told is a "monkey mask" cancellation. I have never seen a "monkey mask" cancellation before. Is this for real or is someone making a monkey out of me? Much thanks!

I don't see the monkey, nor have I ever heard of a "monkey mask" but there are many more advanced than I.

Welcome to SCF Ponso1!

I don't profess to be knowledgeable in fancy cancels but neither "monkey mask" nor "monkey's mask" turns up anything stamp-related in either a Google search or an ebay search of active and completed listings.

Although, in a Rorschach kind of way, the leftmost cancel does look a little like an ape...

It's not a monkey, it is however an old cork cancellation. The more ornate ones are called fancy cancels and a few of them have names but if someone just told you that then I wouldn't bet the farm it. Nice pair however!
