Hi, I have been going through my Dad's stamp collection the past few days. I know very little about stamp collecting. What is the best way to find a value of a stamp? Any books that anyone recommends? Also, are these Chinese stamps worth anything?
Thanks in advanced

I wasn't too sure where to post this so hopefully it is in the right section

freestampcatalogue.com might have
some info that helps. I haven't looked up many
foreign stamps on the site as of yet.

welcome to the stamp comunity, CaPpedDoG!

The standard reference in the US for stamp values is Scott's Catalogues.
They are in seven volumes and the set is available in most public libraries.
A new set is expensive, but you can get a set of used copies (which are 4-5 years old) for about $35-50 on ebay.
I have to get going to work now. I can check the value of your stamps tonight if no one else has by then.
