We all have a favorite subject that we would like to see as a stamp. What would you like to see the USPS release.

I have seen many petitions that range from War Dogs to Fountain Pens.

I will start since I think they can toss the Simpson Stamps into the shredder.

I would like to see a series issue that focuses around the industries that built America like Coal Mining.

Of course if they wanted to do a series centered around the Pittsburgh Steelers I would take it.

I would like to see a stamp for US Highway Route 66. It was commissioned in 1926 and was the first "hard road" to be paved end to end. It stretches from Chicago IL to Santa Monica, CA through 8 states and nearly 2,440 miles. It has been popularized in literature (The Grapes of Wrath), film (Easy Rider), and song (Get Your Kicks on Route 66). It has been called the Mother Road, Will Rogers Highway, and the Main Street of America. Thousands of people travel it each year from all over the world.
