A Big welcome chic from Beautiful Northern Michigan. What a fantastic display. Do you plan to follow in his footsteps?

Well I have been collecting since I was 5. My main interest on my own though was foriegn stamps. Mosly Australia, Great Britain and Canada but I dabbled in it all. The last 30 years or so have not been productive for me stamp wise although I still have and cherish it all. The Classic US goods that I have needs to be spread around to people that would be able to care for it better. I am in the hurricane zone and we have flooded once in the last 30 years, Luckily the collection was stored in a high location and was not damaged, but I worry about it. I know that I have a real unreplaceable collection of American Classics and would be devastated if it was lost..

Well chic any Classic U.S. Stamps that you have that need a good home. Could find a good one here at my house. I'm about 40 years behind and trying desperately to catch up on a limited budget so it's slow. Or maybe I should say "I'M Slow"
Ha! Ha!

Yes, agree with TinMan and ILS in welcoming you warmly to our forum. Lots of good people here with lots of interests in the older US. I have one, miserable copy of US #1, so seeing your collection is quite a treat. Once you get enough posts in the system, you will be able to gauge how well your collection matches up with others, and I'm sure you will find quite a few members interested in trades for some of your items. However most of us, including myself, have a limited budget and will have to rely on looking at and commenting on the wonderful posted items. So, please keep them coming.
