Can anyone tell me anything about this cover? It's postmarked Jan 1 1884 (New Years Day!). It's evident the year is 1884 from the marking on the reverse, December 31, 1883 (New Years Eve!). Kind of cool to have New Year's Eve and New Year's Day on the same cover.
Thanks for all the great info. I actually found this cover in an APS sales circuit - it's not mine. If anyone wants me to buy it and send it to them, just let me know in the next couple of days. It's priced at $9. Anyone out there looking for a New Year's day cancelled cover?
