I have 73 world wide covers that were addressed to the American Friends Service Committee in Philadelphia. Most are covers from their own foreign offices but there are about 10 that are from Jews, I presume looking to leave Europe, who wrote their names and addresses on the covers. There is 1 cover from a camp in the Netherlands and another sent from Burma which would have traveled on the aborted Horseshoe route 1 and then the successful reserve route 2. I have kept these hoping to do a display but there never seems to be enough time. I'm in the process of evaluating my holdings for insurance. Does anyone know who would be the go to person to appraise this type of collection? I've called the Spellman Museum and am waiting on a return call. The covers are similar to the Edward Victor collection.
