Hello,

I am happy to join this community. I have been collecting Newfoundland stamps only since 1972 and focus only on those stamps and covers.
I hope to learn from you all and also give back the knowledge that I have accumulated about that country or other relevant topics.

I reside in California.

Here is an image of one of my favorite new items : a rare first flight cover from 11:30am September 25, 1930 from St Johns to England on a special plane called the "Columbia". Its a poor country cousin to a $14,000 cover which had a special stamp. This one cost me $600 and is classified as FF35d (AAMC) or FF26d (NSSC).

Enjoy

Hi tommy, and welcome. That is a great cover and most interesting to me. The aircraft is mentioned in this wikipedia article.
