Older collector, started off as a kid. I did no collecting until about four to five years ago. I bought stamps at a shop before E-bay got big, and stamp prices were still very depressed. I loved spending $50 to $100 a week, and getting tons of great stamps. Unfortunately I became very ill and am on disability now. When I received my big back check I went straight to the store; thinking I am going to clean the stamp section out. I thought an offer of a couple thousand would yield a massive addition to my collection, but the owner discovered E-bay. The huge collection of mark downs was gone. Now I haunt E-bay looking for those rare chances to get something amazing for a tiny percentage of its value. I love older stamps from all over the world, and am most attracted to rarer items.
