I Enjoy This Forum

I have never participated in a forum of any kind. Although I have "Lurked" from time to time. By the way, I don't mind that term. I think it fits. There are a couple of things I think may improve this forum. One, like the Topical section, I'd like to see a country heading to post particular country selections for everyone to enjoy. For example, a continuing post for Republic of China or Great Britain and so forth. Next, I'd like to see the newest posts displayed first descending to the oldest. Possibly as an option to the user. Thanks for listening!

It looks to me to be the oldest descending to the newest.

You've probably discovered all this, but just in case...

For a long time, I used the 'Last 100 Active' tab, but then switched to the 'Active' tab, and that is pretty much all I use now. As long as you are logged in, it will show the topics with activity since your last visit.

The arrow behind the poster's name in the 'Last Post' column will take you to the most-recent post in that topic. I'm not aware of a way to take you right to the first unread post in a topic, but as long as you keep checking in regularly, you never have to scroll up too far to find the new stuff.

i enjoy this forum also..since 2008...its a great bunch but it seemed like when we were a lot smaller in the beginning the chat seemed non stop..we really got to know one another..a lot of helpful folks have moved on I guess..nothing remains the same..when I was 15 I carried cinder blocks two at a time to a mason...now one is a burden !!
