I thought these were interesting too. One of the cards lists most of the types of vegetation found in the desert.

Saguaro cactus are magnetically sensitive. If they are not replanted according to the same north/south and east/west alignment they grew up in, they will die.

I always liked the flambouyant flower spikes of the yucca.

I didn't know that the cactus was that fussy to grow. You learn something new every day.

I've always loved yucca, too. We have a couple in our yard up here in Nebraska.

And yikes, check out that politically incorrect cactus in the lower right of the second card. :/

Not quite Yucca, but Joshua Tree National Park is certainly gorgeous throughout the year (when it isn't 120 degrees, of course.)
