Does anybody know of a website, or auction house or any reliable source where I can buy First Flight Covers?

I am actively seeking to buy specific ones from Newfoundland and I have seen them from time to time scattered in auctions around Canada and the States. I have a specific shopping list from the AAMC book

But I thought someone on this community might know of a specific place specifically targeting only FFCs for sale.

Thanks

There is a site called Buck a Cover that might help. If you are looking for any Canada First Flight Covers let me know.

I found 6 in the cover box on Buck a Cover but not what you may be looking for. Now Brian Wolfden has a nice assortment of Canada and Newfoundland covers here- http://www.brianwolfenden.com/newfl.html

Some a bit high but if you call he can get it. He does not list all his inventory.

Many thanks 1775mac.

Yeah, I finally found those in the cover box, but sort of hard to find without searching. those are not FFCs, but I do appreciate the time and information

It just seems odd to me that like with FDCs, there is not a more centralized auction house, outfit or website devoted solely to the First Flights.

I'll go check out the den of the wolf, now.

Hello 1775Mac (and the community)

I just got two FFCs from the wolfenden link you mentioned.

Looks like a solid outfit, knowledgeable.

Many thanks for that resource. Still looking for ANY FFCs from Newfoundland.

Cheers

Glad to help. One of those covers wouldn't happen to be a "General Balbo flight cover"? If it was congrats and she is a beaut.

1175 Mac (and others),

Here are two new First Flight Covers that I just acquired from the suggestion above. (still looking for ANY Newfoundland FFCs)

I've got 64 so far--so these two bring it to 66 (no duplicates--all unique FFC according to AAMC and NSSC). I'm trying to acquire every single FFC listed in the AAMC book. I've missing about 28.

Enjoy these

AAMC - FF45 with C7 or C9 stamp from 1931

AAMC FF5a with 117 from 1921
