My name is Randy. My grandfather was a big collector of stamps his entire life and had amassed an impressive and valuable collection. As a boy I was not very familiar with anything specific in his collection, but I understood the collection was worth several hundred thousand dollars or more back in the 80's. Due to some unfortunate circumstances, much of the collection was sold off in the late 80's and 90's. That said, the remainder of the collection is now in my possession. I hope to review the little that is left to see if we still have anything unusual/rare/unique/valuable.

The reason I signed up here is because while looking through the collection I found what looks to me to be an interesting penny black. I will be posting about that stamp in the another forum area. Thanks for reading.
