Just in case you missed it, the APS is giving away some Christmas goodies to members. Just look on page 1160 of the December issue of the American Philatelist or go to http://www.stamps.org/gift/.

You can get a checkbook calander with major shows listed, a postcard showing the new AP Center, a hard-copy APS Members Services Handbook, a sheet of fifteen member labels, and self-adhesive APS patch.

Check it out!

Whats with the achtung ? Are we in the motorized infantry now ? I emailed the APS that I would like a list of members in Ulster and Dutchess county to recruit for our club..they sent me address labels for 150 people with the understanding that I would use the names only for our stamp club recruitment..

I've been watching Hogan's Heros while I've been down and out. My hero, Sgt. Schultz, got me to saying it again.

I didn't know you could get addresses from the APS. Maybe you could even mention us when you send them!

IBM? I always assumed he was stashed away as a tenured professor at one of those exclusive east coast private universities - or the night shift supervisor at the Twinkies factory.

I ordered my goodies on the 17th or 18th, and they arrived today. Now that's what I call speedy service for a FREE gift.

That's the kind of top shelf organization the APS always is!

BTW:man! that was a great show! far better than the crap (geez! can I say that?) they have on today. Of course, now they'd
probably complain as offensive to the Nazi party. Astbards! I personally think Bob Crane was murdered. Did they ever solve his case?

Did someone here pass on that Colonel Klink was an actual Holocaust survivor and that's why he never wore the actual German uniform? Or did I hear that else where?
Anyway--cool Sgt Schultz!
