Linn's announced USPS has call off the Rudolph souvenir sheet
and says it will not be issued (this year)Oh. Well!

The 2014-dated Poinsettia booklets have now returned to the USPS Store's website with a "pre-order" link suggesting they will be available for shipment on November 3, 2014. Apparently an additional supply of them is being made available for the Holidays and to meet collector demand:

As we celebrate 75 years of Robert L. May's 1939 Rudolph, Santa's 9th reindeer, thought it would be nice to remember the 1st cartoon movie was in 1944 and singing the lyrics for the first time (May's brother-in-law, Johnny Marks, adapted the story of Rudolph into the song first song by Gene Autry). Both can be found on Youtube

In case anybody's interested, the Wilt Chamberlain stamps have now hit the USPS Store's website for pre-orders, including FDCs and Press Sheets.

It is also interesting (refreshing) to note that the USPS Store will sell them in quantities as small as a block of 4 for $1.96.
