Thanks for posting. Enjoyed seeing them all in one place - your album! Liked seeing the different varieties too.

I re-sized the scans with the photo optimizer and probably shouldn't have because there just isn't enough detail now. I think I'll upload the original scans later. Kathey, it took me about 6 months at stamp shows, ebay, Stamps2go and BidStart. |

Absolutely gorgeous arrangement and set. I immediately checked my stock and collection to see what "holes" I still had. Just a few, thank goodness. I did have the 1906a, too. However, as I was checking in my Scott's Specialized I noticed an entry for the 2466b, a "bright blue" variant. It's also apparently called "Bronx blue". I don't have it, and I noticed that you haven't included a second variant. Speaking personally, discerning obscure shade differences for many issues is lost on me. Just mentioned it to you in case you had somehow overlooked it. |

The 2466b is lighter in shade than the normal and easy to see the difference. One can also find some different shades of the 9.3c and 10.9c. |

eyeonwall, if you happen to have both varieties, please post them. I'm curious about the two different colors that unfortunately Scott doesn't illustrate, and would like to see the two next to each other for comparison. Thanks for the info. |

I hadn't realized there were so many different ones. Pretty cool looking pages! |

Another well known color variety is on the 5 cent Motorcycle, Scott 1899, where a wrong color ink was used to mix with the dark green. It resulted in an almost black variety at first! Of course, the most obvious of all the "varieties" have not been mentioned: the different plate numbers.

lpmiller - I do have both and do have a scanner, but don't know how to post images on this board. I've only ever used the Quick Reply box down at the bottom of the page. Is it something I can do by hitting the Reply to Topic "button"? and is it obvious how I attach the image from there? |

Beautiful layout. May I ask what software you used to create the pages? |
