Phil....

That's a nice deal for a Davo album.

......FYI.....all ebay auctions are won by the next bid increment, 25cents, 50cents or $1.00. Meaning that......if an item is at $25.50 and in the last few seconds you bid $75.00 or $100.00 you would win the item for $25.75, provided no one else tried the same thing at the same time.

And therein lies the danger. If I tried that I'd run into the only other numbskull in the world bidding on the same item.

Good Show, Phil!

Are you looking for an album for 1999+ Holland?

Good for you, philb. Those Davo albums are beautiful.

Now if only Volumes 2 up of Stan Gib's Windsor Albums would come up...

Good price for a Davo (hingeless I suppose?). I have a few myself as well and try to buy them secondhand at auctions, because new they are a bit expensive...

That would change things. In that case it is still not very expensive, but not an exceptional deal. I am only looking for the hingeless ones, because I find it far too much work to fiddle around with hinges or hawid strips.
If anyone needs a Davo Sweden - I have one that I bought without asking first and it turned out it is not hingeless...

These are very beautiful albums. I have one of my US collections in a hingeless Davo. The only problem encountered was any coil before about 1920 is not included. Had to get separate pages for coils and line pairs.

-Zombie thread revival-

I have recently bought a 'Lighthouse\Leuchtturm Album of France Stamps' from ebay.
Can anyone tell me if this is also hingless or does it need mounts fitting in.
If mounts are needed what sizes are required to cover the majority of French issues?

Anthony,

To my eye looks like an unhinged album. The previous owner probably used Hawid clear mounts and was a very neat fellow.

By my eyes could be belying me and you'll see for sure once it arrives.

As for mounts, I'd suggest you buy 500g of mixed Lighthouse clear mounts and a gillotine cutter.
