New To The Forum- Collector Of Practically Everything.

Hi all,
I'm Pat, a long time casual collector who has stepped things up over the last few months. I'm a professional archivist, so I am always around historic materials, but I have been keeping stamps since I was about 13. I was born in Spain so I have a special interest in stamps from there, and being a history nut keeps me open to practically everything- I know I have some valuable things, but I get my enjoyment from the historical evidence of covers, cancellations, block numbers, etc.

I am also starting some little collections for my 2 y.o. daughter to (eventually) enjoy, so kid oriented themes are creeping into the mix.

I look forward to chatting, swapping, and just roaming around here. I just started posting scans of some of my random bits and pieces on Tumblr http://metapatjohnson.tumblr.com/ for fun, too.

Hello everyone! My name is Jawad. I just joined this forum a few minutes ago. So it will take me a while before I get my head around how to use this forum! I have been collecting stamps since the age of six.
