Can anyone help me with this. There is a small "5" that looks handwritten under the name Stephen. Has anyone seen this before?

Very interesting. I only have one copy ... no "5" in mine. It looks like poor inking on letters close to that area also.

It's not on mine. Scott's doesn't list it. I'd guess it should be classified as an EFO.

I wonder if this is a case of matrix-ing or if this is a purposeful number placed on a die for a reason? It could be just written on there and erased by a postal employee hard to say from the scan really?
