I just joined this forum and wanted to introduce myself.
I started collecting stamps at the age of 8, but then for various reasons stopped actively collecting around 17 went I went into the US Navy during Vietnam.
Now some 40 years later, I found all my old albums and stamps packed away in storage, and I'm starting to go through everything, so I consider myself a newbee collector again!
Thanks in advance for putting up with the typical newbee questions, but as an experienced IT/Computer guy, perhaps I can be a resource for anyone needing any help in that area! lol
See you around the site...
PS: My username is derived from many sources, like me being so stubborn that people say my head is as hard as a rock, and also that was my nickname in the Navy. But I do not collect rocks! lol
Welcome RockMan! I know I can use some IT assist now and then (we'll talk more about that later..lol) Glad you are still collecting and ask as many questions as you need that's why we're here! Happy collecting! -Jeff
Also welcome ukrill! uKrill, You should start your very own introduction thread for a proper welcome & introduction.
Welcome to the group. Thanks for your service to our country. I'm retired Air Force. You will be amazed at the convenience in collecting stamps now that we have the internet compared to 40 years ago when you put your stamps away, way back then. You're in for a load of fun.
