

German inflation covers are pretty popular. They date around 1923 when reparation payments demanded of Germany by the victors of World War I wrecked the German economy and eventually led to Hitler's rise in power.
German covers of the time bear stamps in quantity as the value of the Mark fell and inflation skyrocketed.
This post card needed 11 copies of Scott 224 to be mailed. Since the stamps would not fit on the message side, they were affixed to the picture side with F.B. noted where the stamp would normally go.
