Nobody mentioned it but here is my opinion on the $5 Columbian shown in the image.

It is genuine, regummed w small faults (thin) and REPERFORATED at right margin.

You should note some perf tip stiffness indicating the regum. The gum color and application does not appear original. The stamp size may be somewhat smaller than expected and the perf hole shape, and alignment are off at right margin suggesting the reperf.

Still a nice stamp. Good to get a cert, but likely $900 a bit on the high side. At a major auction, if the stamp is indeed in the condition as my opinion suggests, it would realize $500-600.
