Mixed U.S.-non-U.S. revenue documents from the Civil War era are exceedingly scarce.

These six pieces came from the same collection. It's too bad that they were clipped down.

Apparently these were all promissory notes payable at the Inland Exchange rate (all foreign bills of exchange were liable), since they all appear to match up. Five cents for every $100 or fraction was the rate based on the one visible date.
