My major collecting interest is used Germany from post WWI to date - primarily regular issues and semi-postals. When you get your 50 posts maybe we can do some trading on the more current issues if you have or can get them.
By the way, your English is excellent. I lived in Bad Kreuznach for six years when I was a child, but can't remember very much of the German I learned WAY back then.

Query on DDR stamps. I'm an occasional collector based in the Swiss Alps and am preparing my used DDR stamp album for auction. Two stamps need to be dated by year, so I seek your help. They have no imprinted topic but are 10 and 20 pfennig stamps showing moveable bridges apparently lifted to permit train or barge traffic passage below. The same artist obviously created both stamps. The 10-pfennig stamp is a greenish gray on white showing boxcars passing beneath the upraised tressle; the 20 pfennig stamp is reddish brown on white and also shows a train and tracks below. The cancellations show only the dateline "Berl..", no date. The only ID info is "Deutsche Demokratische Republik". Can anybody help me trace these stamps' year of issue? Thanks in advance for any input you can offer.
